Amundi US today announced the launch of two new mutual funds deploying focused strategies that seek to identify global stocks with sustainable businesses and which meet certain ESG criteria. Boston, Massachusetts - Amundi US today announced the launch of two new mutual funds deploying focused strategies that seek to identify global stocks with sustainable businesses and which meet certain ESG criteria. Both funds are managed by a deeply experienced portfolio management team that will leverage the resources of the global Amundi organization, one of the world's ten largest asset managers[1] and a global leader in responsible investing.

Marco Pirondini, Head of US Equities for Amundi US, said: “These new Funds leverage investment experience across our firm, including our Global Equity team and Equity Research team in Boston, as well as the ESG expertise of the broader Amundi organization. Each Fund offers a focused strategy aimed at capitalizing on important global themes in both Growth and Value equities. As value stocks appear to be returning to favor with the global economic recovery, a portfolio focused on identifying companies that we believe operate sustainable business models and adhere to the Fund's ESG criteria, may be attractive to long-term investors. Our view is that companies with innovative business strategies and strong or improving ESG profiles should continue to play an important role in investor portfolios. ”

Amundi is a global leader in responsible investing, with approximately $ 828 billion in responsible investments worldwide as of March 31, 2021. ESG research is a core capability of Amundi, with more than 10,000 companies worldwide rated according to a proprietary ESG methodology.

A Word About Risk:

Pioneer Global Sustainable Growth Fund

The market prices of securities may go up or down, sometimes rapidly or unpredictably, due to general market conditions, such as real or perceived adverse economic, political, or regulatory conditions, recessions, inflation, changes in interest or currency rates, lack of liquidity in the bond markets, the spread of infectious illness or other public health issues or adverse investor sentiment. Investing in foreign and/or emerging market securities involves risks relating to interest rates, currency exchange rates, economic, and political conditions. The Fund is subject to currency risk, meaning that the fund could experience losses based on changes in the exchange rate between non-U.S. currencies and the U.S. dollar. The Fund generally excludes corporate issuers that do not meet or exceed minimum ESG standards. Excluding specific issuers limits the universe of investments available to the Fund, which may mean forgoing some investment opportunities available to funds without similar ESG standards. Investing in small and mid-sized companies may offer the potential for higher returns, but are also subject to greater short-term price fluctuations than larger, more established companies. When interest rates rise, the prices of fixed-income securities in the Fund will generally fall. Conversely, when interest rates fall, the prices of fixed-income securities in the Fund will generally rise. The Fund may use derivatives, which may have a potentially large impact on Fund performance. At times, the Fund’s investments may represent industries or industry sectors that are interrelated or have common risks, making it more susceptible to any economic, political, or regulatory developments or other risks affecting those industries and sectors. These risks may increase share price volatility.
