FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boston, November 19, 2020 – Amundi Pioneer today announced that it will rebrand the US business of Amundi as Amundi US effective January 1, 2021. The new brand identity will replace Amundi Pioneer, which was first adopted in July 2017 following the acquisition of Pioneer Investments by Amundi.

Lisa Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Pioneer, said, “With our new brand, Amundi US, we leverage the strength of the global Amundi brand and simplify our corporate identity. We are among the ten largest asset management firms globally and Europe’s largest asset manager by assets under management, with $1.9 trillion in AUM, including more than $350 billion in Responsible Investments.[1]  We are excited about this rebranding. US clients are increasingly seeking our diverse perspective and capabilities as a global industry leader and innovator in responsible investing.”

Boston is one of Amundi’s six global investment hubs[2]  and manages a broad range of fixed-income, equity, and multi-asset investment solutions for a wide range of retail and institutional investors in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. In rebranding the US business, there will be no changes to officers, personnel, products, services, or other resources.

While Amundi Pioneer will change its corporate brand identity in the US, it will continue to recognize the legacy and strength of the Pioneer brand in the US and international retail channels by retaining the use of the Pioneer brand for the retail funds distributed in the US and internationally. The legacy US mutual funds and UCITS will continue to be Pioneer-branded funds. For example, Pioneer Fund, Amundi Pioneer’s oldest fund with a history dating back to 1928, will retain its name, and the UCITS version will continue to be called Amundi Funds – US Pioneer Fund.

Effective January 1, 2021, the US business will adopt Amundi’s global logo. The US websites will also be rebranded, as will the US social media platform, product literature, marketing materials, and email. The formal names of the legal entities in the US will be realigned to conform to the new branding.
